Okay, #MastoHiveMind, I'm after a bit of help here.
I've just installed Masto 4.2.13 via YuNoHost (that is the latest Masto version available there) on my VPS (80Gb SSD, 8Gb RAM, 6 cores, and trying to log in after the initial install results in this page coming up pretty much no matter what I do.
I keep getting indications that the password is invalid, even though it is letting me log in, and can't seem tp get any further.
Any ideas how to get past this?

Was planning to do a post about "progressives" who hate Socialism, or those who think the far right are Socialists, but that will do for another time. *yawn*

So, looks like I'm almost ready to move from [.]social, imported my block list this morning, looking at expanding that and importing followers/following tomorrow morning, and we should be good to go.
It would appear I have plenty of capacity on this server, thinking of approaching some creative friends who aren't here and offering them a place to stay.
Just need to finish the instance CoC, ToS, and rules, and then we'll see how soon I can make this thing fall over!

So, my new, personal Mastodon instance is up and running - there are some tweaks I need to make yet (CO, ToS, Rules, if I ever decide to open it up to others, and a block list!), but otherwise it seems to be working fantastically.
So, over the next few days, this account here will be sunsetted, and after I export my followers/following list, will go largely quiet.

So, bit of a busy night tonight - switching between setting up a #WordPress site, installing a new Masto instance to (possibly) use as production as this test one seems to be working, setting up users to populate the new instance for all my projects, editing and uploading photos to one of my other sites, and having a mini-rave at my desk to a load of #Madchester era #AcidHouse.
It's about as close as I ever come to a night out these days...

- it's fairly trivial to set up subdomains without access to Plesk or CPanel!
(CNAME is your friend - thanks for this gem hidden in the docs, @yunohost !)
Putting cold jeans on on a cold morning is not pleasant!
- Setting up WP via #yunohost whilst getting dressed is the easiest way to do it, ever!
- being redirected to the portal page to log in is a bit jarring!
- I really must learn to type!

And that's it!
Now the productive dtuff is done, I've just got to survive a shift at work...
