Why is small infill development and slow, measured change vital to our neighborhoods? It is how the charm of our favorite places in Denton are built. “Charm is easier to produce in fine-grained environments. When buildings are small and ownership is distributed, variation emerges naturally. Different builders, different timelines, and different constraints produce a layered streetscape almost by default.”

Tomorrow from 10am-12pm, Denton's Mobility Committee will hear recommendations from the Denton Parking Study. It recommends waiting 3+ years to create another study to see if we should remove parking mandates to give freedom to small business owners and residents, and waiting 2-4 years before improving downtown parking with parking management. The mobility committee accepts public comment at their meeting by filling out a blue card before the item is called. #ParkingReform
