This is a diagram of a bus in an old encyclopedia. Busy plotting and finished.
The lines are random and slice the blocks of text, pushing the shards inwards.

This is also a fairly known photograph of people crossing the street holding umbrellas. I should look up who the photographer was.
The old book pages are cut out, painted with gesso and glued with bookbinder's glue to 90g drawing paper to make them a bit more sturdy. The green plots were using sakura gelly roll pens. The blue plots in the previous toots are simple pelikan ink in technical rotring pens.
I'm very much enjoying vpype flow imager (https://github.com/serycjon/vpype-flow-imager, they are not on mastodon i think) but because I normally write code to generate plottable drawings, it feels very much like cheating.
Description and attribution in ALT.

My current #plotter obsessions are
- drawing on old encyclopedia paper
- digitally cutting people out of fashion and other photos and running them through vpype flow imager
- a combination of both

More images in the replies. And yes, I am somewhat conflicted about destroying old books, but they were being sold by the kilogram and no-one was buying them.

More two sided #plotter bookmarks. This time with perlin noise fields.

And this is the opposite where the plotting is done after a generously watered down base coat of aquarel paint.
These are older bookmarks where I painted over them after plotting
That eventually led to these slightly more different ones. And a couple of postcard-sized versions.
