Anyone have a working guide on how to setup #Obsidian on iOS sync to #git?

I had it working on my old phone, but that phone broke and now I have a new phone, but can't make the Obsidian Git plugin connect to git.

I keep getting the "Can't find a valid git repository. Please create one via the given command or clone an existing repo." message, even though I have entered the Git repo.
What is "the given command" mentioned? It doesn't say.
