Bun!
@SnoopJ it’s becoming increasingly obvious that the AI true believers have not spoken to an actual person in any depth beyond ordering brunch from the waiter, like, ever
@Lana “8 > 2 to own the libs”
@fay59 @joe @fclc oh, are we at it again? /dusts off notes

Happy Saturday to the couple having the most amazing passive aggressive fight I've seen in months while checking out of our hotel. Mom is clapping with the baby and happily singing “I was checking in \ while managing the baby \ you were nowhere to be seen \ you should have told me what you wanted”

(The fight is over like $35 in room service charges on a multi-thousand dollar bill. This is superb people watching.)

It's telling that we keep seeing "parents' rights" and "parents' bill of rights," but never "children's rights" or "students' rights."

@wigging Maison Villatte is a fantastic bakery (but the line is frequently out the door and down the block). The aquarium in Woods Hole is very fun but closed for repair this year. Taking the ferry over to Martha's Vineyard for the day and renting a bike and/or windsurfer is nice if you have time.

Mostly just go to the beach and relax.

If you have a car, driving to the outer cape and visiting the national seashore is pretty great too, but traffic on the cape can make it a bit of a slog.
