The multimillionaires who staff the Reserve Bank of Australia have decided more unemployment is a good idea.

They all have enough money to ensure their children won’t have to work, probably their grandchildren.

They can’t imagine what it is to have to choose between heat and healthy food, having already lost all the things that provide status and comfort in our society.

One really big thing I want to see in my lifetime - the mainstream acceptance that the central bank *simply cannot* fix inflation by raising rates.

It’s utter lunacy and it hurts millions of people. And it just doesn’t work.

Today is the day, the EU decides on Chat Control 1.0. Will they let the Trojan Horse through the gate and let Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn etc continue to scan all your messages?

We at Tuta say NO.

❌ No scanning
❌ No mass surveillance
❌ No age verification

Instead we fight for:

✅ Encryption
✅ Privacy
✅ Open Source

And so should the EU. Stop #ChatControl now! 🥊

@jerry Hey didn’t realise you were taking over ioc.exchange! Things have been really broken for me at least the last few days though - most profile images aren’t loading and I also can only see 3-5 posts on Trending whereas before I would see dozens and dozens of posts there, I liked to scroll that feed so really hope that’s not intentional!

“Please get the truth out about our son. He was a good man. Thank you.”

The purported Bondi RC is just a culture war talking point.

Everyone with half a brain knows it can’t do anything until the criminal proceedings against the surviving alleged murderer have concluded, otherwise it’d poison his trial and result in his release.

So no Royal Commission can proceed until after the conclusion of the trial and all appeals, which will take years.

The people who call for a Royal Commission know this, and also know that the only sensible response to their calls is, “No.”

The reason they’re calling for a Royal Commission is to force the, “No,” response so they can claim the government is antisemetic.

This is culture war, harnessing slaughter for party-political purposes. It’s deeply immoral, and everyone engaged in it needs to be ridiculed and shunned.

I’ve asked a few times what the point and purpose of a Royal Commission in to the #Bondi events would be. The response generally seems to be an RC would be in to if there’s anti-semitism in this country and if more can be done to counter it. #AntisemitismRC
