Stendhal Game is a spare time project. During the last 20 years, people from all continents (not counting Antarctica) have contributed to the project. We have formed strong international friendships. There was even a real-world wedding between two players who met each other in game.
A big shout out to @Codeberg for dealing with racist spam on the issue tracker in a very effective manner. Please know that you work is very much appreciated. ❤️
Today we are saying farewell to a cute little blue bird. It was born shortly after the first release of #StendhalGame. We saw its rise and had to witness its demise.
In positive news, we really like #Codeberg and made it our primary home.
Did you know that Codeberg is maintained by the non-profit organization Codeberg e. V.? They are very similar to our association. (Let's ignore for a moment, that me are tiny. Its the principals and values that count).

We are happy to announce the release of Stendhal 1.48: Aesthetically Pleasing.
We added new quests and new items, as well as a significant reward for finding a clover with four leafs.
On the graphic side the web- and Android clients saw notable new features: Creates can not be animated and when walking over high bridges the background now moves realistically based on its distance.
