Tonight is the night that could potentially change my life.
I've struggled with sleep apnea for probably a dozen years now. CPAP was an unacceptable treatment option as it aggravated my GERD causing acid reflux and painful bloating.
This simple device that's shaped like a pair of bongos (hence its name of BongoRX) goes into the edge of my nose. It's minimally invasive and requires no electricity to operate. It simply provides resistance when exhaling which keeps my airway open while I sleep.
Being perpetually sleep deprived for over a decade I know how important a good night's sleep is. If this works for me, I'll have clarity of thought again and enough energy to live my life. I really do hope this works out for me!

We burned a huge pile of branches and twigs that have accumulated in our yard for the past uhh decade or so. Needed to be done and now it's just this smouldering little puff of smoke. Kind of like my latent anxiety :)
