Did I compile OpenTabletDriver for #Guix? Yes. Is it insanely cursed? Also yes.

Weirdos: "Why would anyone learn to code, LLMs can do that now"

Actual programmers: "I made a new game for the ZX Spectrum"

Trying to package something for #Guix but it needs Dotnet 10. 🥲 Time to see if I can somehow version bump 8 to 10 with zero issues (impossible)

Mina the Hollower is pretty good.

I used to be a Pixelfed user but left once I realized development was essentially stalled and the ActivityPub implementation was critically broken. With the developer concentrating on Loops, a TikTok clone which is filled with reposted TikTok brain rot, I discovered https://subversive.pics.

I use Ocular by @rostiger and now have my own static image gallery at https://img.ominous.net/. There’s a growing community of users in the Ocular webring and participants in Subversive.pics.

The Steam Deck price increase may have a second order effect on crime, where cyber criminals could launder cards/steam items for money to then buy a Steam Deck to be resold elsewhere. Now it's just more costly to buy a Steam Deck, so now criminals will have to do more shady actions to be able to launder Steam Decks. And that's if they can fight off normal customers and scalpers.
Well I guess it's game over for the two applications I run in Flatpak. 🫡
