Been a while. Slowly extricating myself from the dumpster fire that FB suddenly self-ignited after smoldering for years. Have a pic of Wesley who is now 1.5 years old & still comes to the bookstore just about daily. Am home with Covid for a couple of weeks. Entertain me!

3/3 TikTok IS IN CHINA. What creative fiasco just happened w/China? THE HUGOS. (Hello, fellow SF people; you knew I’d get back to you!). For those still reading this who are SF fans and pros, the Hugos set off China to get super-upset at the US in ways other than “bad words”: trade (more of same), negotiations, creative endeavors (+ the old censorship). So TikTok has also, as of today, removed all licensed music. Coincidence? Goodbye to TikTokkers located in the US. #tiktok #hugos #china

2/3 More on TikTok … So, I fill out the forms for a Shop. I get to my address. It already knows I’m in the US & fills that in for me. City & State. I keep trying. It keeps not “seeing” them. I then realize it will only show me PROVINCES IN CHINA. I close it. I start from scratch: same again. A 3rd time: same again. 4th & 5th times: same again. So, it won’t let me start a Shop unless I’m in China. Why? Where is TikTok located? /next rock #tiktok #tiktokshop #china #hugos

And why is the book listed under the title GREATEST HITS. Harlan’s name isn’t even in the title. I couldn’t find it in Ingram at first because it’s listed under G for “Greatest Hits” - period.
