Is this the best comedy sketch?

"Watching those who pretend to be religious carry out the most wretched actions against others for power or money is enough to make me start thinking seriously about souls, something I haven’t done until now."
"It’s especially stark and shocking to see how much of this palpable evil comes from people who claim to be God-fearing."

The US makes huge headlines every day. Today it was a threat to the Pope.
It makes me think, is the US suffering from mass insanity similar to mass hysteria? Where good is now bad and bad is good; when honesty is now bad and corruption is good; when love for our neighbours is now bad and cruelty is good.
I think the Pope needs to send a few dozens of exorcists to cast out the demons and bring people back to reality.
The headline in my news feed today that hurts.
It's been 10 years since Brexit. Luckily no argument between friends anymore. Everybody agrees it was a mistake. But the consequences are still impacting our lives.
How come my email was given as the recovery email by a company I don't know?
Either Google or that company messed up.
The German government has just deprecated Microsoft Office file formats. Germans must use either ODF (LibreOffice) or PDF open standard formats instead; No more proprietary document formats!
For details, see: https://blog.documentfoundation.org/blog/2026/03/20/big-news-germany-has-just-made-odf-mandatory/

The German federal government has quietly taken an extremely significant step: hidden amongst the technical specifications of the Deutschland-Stack – the rules that will govern the sovereign digital infrastructure supporting public administration at all levels of government, from federal ministries to local council offices – there is a short but highly significant line. Under the technological pillar “Semantic technologies and real-time analysis”, the document mandates the use of just two document formats: ODF and PDF/UA. That is all. Two open, vendor-neutral formats, defined by international standardisation bodies. OOXML, Microsoft’s closed, proprietary format, is not on the list. What is the Deutschland-Stack? The Deutschland-Stack is the German federal government’s project for a sovereign, interoperable digital infrastructure that complies with European standards. It is neither a pilot project nor a policy discussion paper, but the result of a coordinated decision between the Digital Minister, the Federal Chancellery and the Chancellor, backed by the coalition agreement. The document sets out the standards that will govern how all federal public administrations, at all levels, build, procure and manage their digital systems, and envisages concrete implementation by 2028. It is worth reading its architectural principles carefully. “Made in the EU first.” Reduction of lock-in effects.
