Recently was looking through older photos and came to realize 1) that's it's been a decade (!) since the @saftladen celebrated its opening and 2) that I had never really published the snapshots I did. Go figure. Enjoy younger & more naive versions of some people you may know.
Funnily enough, I failed to capture any of the #Saftladen interior since all the action happened outside. One exterior shot will have to do.
In which we look back to things that happened a decade ago: in the summer of 2015, the Saftladen Indie Games Collective (saftladen.berlin/) celebrated the opening of its original location. It's a hub for a number of indie studios and individuals and quickly became one of the institutions in the Berlin dev scene. Funnily enough, I forgot to take interior shots then. Oh well. Enjoy having a look at 2015 versions of people you know from studios like Maschinen-Mensch, Paintbucket, Studio Fizbin, other folks as well as guests that joined for the opening.
G'day, ye mortals. I used that A Maze photo editing momentum to also burn through that batch of snapshots I took at @BerlinGameScene #talkandplay 51. Hoozah. 💪 Up here: https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjChA6w Enjoy and feel free to share!
Note that the next one will take place on September 17! RSVP website will go live exactly 14 days prior to that date. Also, obligatory tip of the hat to the University of Europe for Applied Sciences for providing the venue. 😘
Hot on the heels of the A Maze 2025 photo batch: snapshots I took at Talk & Play 51! As always: neat folks, interesting presentations, and an abundance of game projects on display. (28!) Here we go: the final batch of photos I took at this year's #AMazeBerlin . If you're up for some Saturday impressions, you can find them all here: https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjChiiH
Lastly, huuuuuuge thanks to all the folks in the #AMazeFest org team and all the volunteers who make such a splendid event possible every year! 😘 Never to be taken for granted.#AMazeBerlin2025 #AMaze2025
At long last: the final photo batch from A Maze Berlin 2025, i.e. Saturday impressions. It's been once again a blast with a plethora of wonderful people and moments overall. See ya in 2026! Enjoy! (And feel free to pass on word in case you spotted someone you know.) https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjCgrxr #amazeberlin #amazeberlin2025A Maze Berlin returned to Silent Green for its 2025 installment - and plenty of new faces were along for the ride! Some impressions from the secondt full day (Friday). I wasn't around for the awards ceremony, but Jens covered all that anyway. A Maze Berlin returned to Silent Green for its 2025 installment - and plenty of new faces were along for the ride! Some impressions from the first full day (Thursday). Missed a chunk of the evening action though due to other commitments, sadly. If you're in Berlin anyway and want to mingle with #AMazeBerlin attendees and try out the quirky goods in the exhibition, but don't want to or can't get a full festival ticket - there's always the option to just get an evening ticket.
Lastly, if you'd like to familiarize with the vibes and the AMaze location or are curious about previous iterations of the festival in general, feel free to check out some impressions from yours truly at https://www.flickr.com/photos/12601747@N00/collections/72157722920427972/ 😬 </plug> 3/3
