Belatedly, but finally: here comes our blog post about the #ECSA2026 Conference in Oulu, Finland! In it, we share a perspective slightly different from that of researchers. We are excited to announce the recent publication of the IPM Popillia Vademecum, co-authored and designed by the SPOTTERON team. The Vademecum as part of the IPM Popillia Horizon 2020 project is a practical guide in the management of the #invasive Popillia japonica.🪲

Since the release of the SPOTTERON Platform Version 4.0, #CitizenScience & public engagement projects running on the Platform support multiple image upload per data submission. How do you see your city? Explore through CiVo - Citizen Voice App.
The new citizen participation uses "Citizen Science" in their hometown and nationwide to get users' feedback on places. Throughout October, CiVo is now in use by the research project “Possibilities of the photo elicitation method in promoting digital civic participation of youth: the example of the urban environment of Riga, Latvia” coordinated by a research team from Latvian Academy of Culture.
