@stegrainer @sarajw @simplebits I was one of the founders of Veer (and before that, EyeWire). Veer was acquired by Bill Gate’s Corbis in 2007. I left in 2009 when the business was going the microstock route. Corbis moved what was left of the Veer operations from Calgary to Seattle, effectively killing it. In 2016, Corbis sold the bulk of its image and licensing assets (including the Veer brand) to a media company based in China.
