An alternative to Autohotkey that I've used because of the sheer coding power behind is AutoIt
You can capture scripts in real time, but also the #coding language is straight forward and very powerful if you are that way inclined to squeeze all the juice out of the automation process.
So I bought an Elgato Stream Deck Mini this week. It's primarily used by streamers but it's a really flexible piece of kit that has many uses.
The video below shows it's bigger sibling.
Now I'm a #spoonie (CFS/ME/FM) with chronic pain issues. All the PC work I do depends on shortcut usage and knowledge. And shortcuts are a painful thing to me.
So I'm going to play with this thing and see if it helps. I'll update with progress :)

@nielsim It is worth having a look at the BSG Deadlock strategy game, with simultaneous turn resolution between the Colonials and the Cylons. It is set during the First Cylon War, but has a cinematic replay of the battles that give you the same thrill as the BSG show did. On PC and consoles.
