Steve Troughton-SmithNot new to iPhone, but new to me: iPhone's Camera Control adjustments interaction is so bad that I'm still surprised it ever shipped. It's no wonder that it defaults to off during setup now, letting the camera button 'just' launch and capture. I turned it back on just to try it out, but I don't think I could ever use it. And fiddling with gestures on it causes accidental misclicks and triggers multitasking gestures far too easily. It's just awful. Swing and a miss. Rumors are they ditch gestures

One permission @apple needs to tackle with iOS 19 needs to be a per app setting to allow or deny the app keeping the screen awake. More and more apps hijack this without an apparent need. @Pschiller
