Notches remind me of this bench.

It's basically the hostile architecture of user experience. If I want to full screen anything, part of it is getting cut off.

Better hope nothing important was under that notch.

What fuck GitHub. I have never enabled any of this. Fastest way of losing my trust is sneakily violating consent. Not that I had any trust left.

Who called it "prompt injection" and not "Escape from Markov"

What about a progress bar on a multi-page survey?

If anyone needs something to convince their higher-ups not to use AI in your projects:

TL;DR: Use AI? You aren't protected by copyright, and are probably infringing on other's copyright.

@mcc Consider the following as well:

https://github.com/gemini-code-assist

Copilot doesn't let you block it unfortunately.

cursoragent - Overview

GitHub is where cursoragent builds software.

By the way, if you go to https://github.com/claude and "block this user", every Github repo you visit containing code credited to Claude will actually have a warning sigil

I hope the SotU address touches on this, even if only in the response.

Anthropomorphizing the technology is just one more way humans try to escape accountability. “The AI contributed a patch”, “the AI wrote the blog post”, “the car hit the pedestrian” and “the knife killed the victim”, those are all the same framing.

I have found this telemetry which shows that Firefox users have dark mode on about 55-60% of the time (but it's out of only 216 clients which seems too low to be reliable):

https://glam.telemetry.mozilla.org/fog/probe/widget_dark_mode/explore?activeBuckets=%5B%22always%22%2C%22never%22%2C%22sometimes%22%5D

And I found this quote:

> In a recent survey of 115 mobile users asking what mode they generally have their mobile device in, roughly 1/3 said dark mode, 1/3 said light mode, and 1/3 said a combination of both.

From: https://www.nngroup.com/articles/dark-mode-users-issues

But no link to the actual results
