I considered having Mollie, my gray and black tabby, climbing on the chair behind Lam E.'s right shoulder, but decided it would be funnier if it was all dogs showing jealousy for the chihuahua in her lap.

My local iteration of the #NoKings event went off without a hitch. Minimal confrontation, no violence, and an all-around peaceful event. The sign I had printed, which I carried around, now hangs on my bedroom wall.
