This is your annual reminder, as Flag Day closes and Independence Day draws near, that live fireworks are like we4pons of w4r against your local wildlife.
They give birds literal heart attacks and can frequently scare wild young away from the safety of their parents' side. If they scare your pets, think how every other animal will be reacting.

My local iteration of the #NoKings event went off without a hitch. Minimal confrontation, no violence, and an all-around peaceful event. The sign I had printed, which I carried around, now hangs on my bedroom wall.
