All Billionaires Are Bad
So if you depend on email for marketing, all of your content is going into the trash, unsubscribed, or marked as spam because Google thinks they can force their shitty AI into everthing with no consequences

Now that Gmail is force feeding active Ai content into your feed, if you disable 'smart' content, they also disable any of the categorization and filtering that made the service tolerable.

I no longer use their search. I'm now looking for an alternative mail host. I was an early adopter and now I'm looking to detach myself from Google because they are now a leader in the enshitification of the internet.

Google has completed their transformation to shit purveyor

Call and write your representatives.

Protest when your government does something you disagree with.

Dissent when you disagree, strenuously β€” by voice and by print.

Contribute to causes you believe in.

Welp. That happened.

The lack of respect I currently have for my fellow citizens is absolutely staggering.

We are fucked as a democratic nation.
And now Ukraine is fucked and so is Gaza.

The whole planet is fucked. I wish this was hyperbole, but it's not.

Other interaction of note was maximum cognitive dissonance. Gay couple entered the library with MAGA hat and LGBTQIA for Trump t-shirt. Think the other person had a campaign shirt on, but couldn't make it out.

Apparently turned away by the poll worker, milled around entrance until they got a library patron to take their picture and then wandered off.

Suppose there will be an aggrieved social media post incoming, but showed a lack of audience awareness if they were expecting to make a splash

Only a couple interactions of note.

While in line, an election 'expert' tried to claim the right to a receipt/electronic copy of ballot so he could prove his ballot hadn't been altered. What he was advocating for was clearly a security vulnerability and sounded like some Lindel/Flynn nonsense. Poll supervisor was polite and even asked main official about it (not possible, see printed ballot explanation above). Luckily, election truther had a buddy who talked him down.

Line looks to be around 25 minutes (people voting after work I suspect)

Utah has electronic voting machines that have an attached paper printer. When you complete your ballot, the paper record is printed in a separate sealed box and displayed for your verification like a light box

Polling observations for Salt Lake UT (daybreak iykyk)
Steady line for voting. Not more than 10 minutes though (Utah is a primarily vote by mail state)
Half of line was for same day registration/provisional voting. Well organized, but poll workers were clearly concerned about wait and were looking for ways to help the provisional voters (not much room for filing out forms)

Live update, they have made a separate line/area for unregistered voters to keep things going. Utah believes in voting 1/
