2026-02-06: Trails groomed and in excellent condition.

Eastern trails were groomed overnight and western trails the night before. Watch out for a rough section on C4 (powerlines) just north of Allen Rd due to bulldozer work. Stay on trails, respect our landowners, and enjoy winter!

2026-02-03: Eastern trails groomed, conditions are good.

Eastern trails (Chaffee/Sardinia) were groomed overnight. Conditions are good so get out and ride. Our trailside hotdog roast is Sunday 2/8 on C4 at Davis Hill Rd.  Stay on the trails and respect landowners.

2026-01-20: Trails open, Limited conditions.

Trails are open in limited conditions. Use caution and expect icy and bumpy conditions with some water, and watch for downed limbs. We need more snow to get the groomers out but things are freezing up well.  Note- our section of C4 may show up as red on the NYSSA map as we work out editing permissions issues.

2026-01-19: Trails Closed. Waiting for Snow.

Trails are closed due to the lack of snow. A storm system and extended cold snap is forecast which could mean good things for local trails. Stay tuned and think snow!

2026-01-18: Trails Open Limited. ECFSC Ride In On.

Trails are open with limited conditions. Watch for thin spots, water, mud, and other obstacles. The Erie County Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (ECFSC) Ride In is on today (1/18) from noon to three at the Genesee Road County Forestry (C4)- ride or drive in for some burgers, dogs, and refreshments. Check the NYSSA map for neighboring clubs’ trail statuses - do not ride on closed trails.

Trails will be closing at midnight due to the warming temperatures and thin to non-existent base. Hold tight until colder temperatures and snow return. Think Snow.
