(zij/haar). Rotterdamse krullenbol. Bewust autoloos, graag met haar wandelstokken op paden in binnen- en buitenland te vinden en fan van reizen met de trein. Ik ben licht onhandig en draag mijn litteken met trots.

(she/her). Curly girl from Rotterdam. Deliberately car-free, can often be found with her trekking poles on trails in and outside the Netherlands and a fan of traveling by train. I am slightly clumsy and wear my scar with pride.

My native language is Dutch, but I do write most of my posts in English. Don’t hesitate to reply in Dutch, English or German, I can read it and will try to write back in your language.

Once again the Ruhrgebiet is the dumping zone for old Dutch buses 😅
Greetings from the #E8 trail to Leerdam, Aachen and Wien!
Holland.
There is a reading light above the foldable tray table in this bus??? The amount of features in the  buses is almost ridiculous.
Rotterdam Centraal. The platform screen on track 14 is stating “8 minuten” at the train announcement for the Intercity Utrecht Centraal. A man asks me what that means. I explain it is a countdown until departure. The man is utterly confused, he thought that when there is a train it will depart asap and not wait???

The cashiers at Jumbo have a mirror on top of their screen to make it easier to look in the ceiling mirror. My cashier was complaining she is too small to look in that mirror, thus looks directly to the ceiling 😅

Raising prices for car fuel aren’t fun, but they are a signal that you should buy less of it, not that the government should throw more tax money against it to fund this lifestyle, there are more important things the government has to fund.

It’s weird that I have to write things about conscious government spending as a PRO voter

After last year's curve tour in Rotterdam, a new opportunity for #Streckensammler is coming up from 18 May until at least halfway June. Tram 2 is again going to run to Beverwaard, but will go directly between Bredenoord and Akkeroord, skip Keizerswaard and thus use the curve outside the roundabout on the Groeninx van Zoelenlaan, not used in regular service.
Quite some stir up in groups about the GR5, now that the FFRandonnée decided to change the route and is going around Genève and Le Grand Piton instead of crossing Lac Leman by boat, adding a couple 100 kms to the route 😅
