#Dinner tonight prepared with the help of my sister, brother and grandmother. Skin on salmon fillets seasoned generously with salt, coarse black pepper, lemon pepper and garlic powder. Sautéed in butter and topped with a brown sugar glaze. Served with corn hash, roasted cauliflower, sweet potato fries, apple coleslaw and lemon wedges.
The salmon was my work and I’m really proud of it. I’m told it was excellent! #cooking
The exercise: Done in #Krita using a basic 5 size brush. The goal: Using my pen to create various sized strokes and create the same size consistently with a 40px brush drawing from down to up. Starting minimal and slowly moving up the sizes. Once I felt I had that mostly handled I moved on to increasing the size one at a time. I intend to repeat this exercise a few times. Made hotdogs on the grill and baked beans for lunch today. Had frozen pizza for dinner. Overall somewhat lazy day for #Cooking but it was all tasty. I also got to learn how to operate a propane powered grill.
Additionally I went #hiking. Hiked through a pine plantation. Ended up hiking onto private property though only one in our group knew. Got out of there as soon as possible once we were informed.
