I think of painters, who spend hundreds of dollars on paints and canvases and brushes and are probably often lucky to sell that painting for what they spent on it, much less for their time. And their work is beautiful! It’s so cool! Why is writing a book any different? Who said that capitalism was the be all end all of our worth?

Anyway, make your cool stuff, whether or not it makes you money. Money is for living, not the other way around.
