Hey so I have a new album up for pre-order, a collaboration with fellow Kiwi cole (@emptyvessel_nz) on the Dutch label Shimmering Moods. It's very spacious ambient music, mostly quite rhythmic even if there are no drums. You can listen to a couple of tracks now.

The digital version is 1/2 price until the actual release. Somehow the limited run of 30 CDs are all sold out already.

Evel is very happy to announce the launch of a new sublabel dedicated to the dancefloor FFT.

For quite some time we have wanted to open a space within the label where rhythm, groove and movement could take a more central role. With this new project we finally have the opportunity to explore music that leans more directly toward club environments and dance-oriented structures. That said, coming from the background we come from, listeners will probably still find some twisted arrangements, unusual melodies and slightly unpredictable structures along the way. Even so, we are sure that among these tracks you will discover moments that inspire you to dance, to play them out, and to simply let yourself be carried by the rhythm.

For the first release of this new sublabel we are proud to present a collaboration between Trash Panda QC and Lilienfeld.

The project draws inspiration from the tradition of schaffel grooves and from complex polyrhythmic structures, blending them into a sound that sits somewhere between experimental electronic music and dancefloor-driven energy.
