Sculpting some stuff for a 15mm scale flying saucers army. #nomadsculpt

I couldn’t find affordable 15mm terrain for this Earth vs the Invaders game and considered modelling and 3D printing some but last night I just started making some from stuff I could find in my studio…

“Replacements” (people taken over by blob monsters) for Earth vs the Invaders I sculpted in Nomad. So these are a mess but the goal was to work out how to pose the same model into different positions to make units and stuff. Lots to learn with anatomy and clothes/wrinkles and all that still but I think these will be okay at 15mm for what I want them for now. I got the sculpting app less than a week ago so still very early in the learning process here… #nomadsculpt

The rain here today is wiiild. Going up des Pins right now and it’s a river coming down the mountain.

Not sure if my paint job made them look better or worse but I painted them up to see how they would look. I might try some other colours than grey. #miniaturepainting

I got a new tablet for my birthday and installed Nomad Sculpt on it last night and made the little aliens on the right to fight these US Marines from 3D Breed. #miniaturepainting #wip

I love this hobby because everyone once in a while you get to play “Is That Paint or Blood?” as an exciting mini-game. Sometimes it’s both!
