Coding is what I like to do. Currently working on HappySteps.
What nonsense! I find the students sleep perfectly well during my early-morning lectures.

[Looking for testers, please #boost]

Hi folks, I can finally share the #TestFlight link to my #ios app, HappySteps:

https://testflight.apple.com/join/KxmTfa2j

It’s a well-being app which focuses on helping you discover what makes you happy and manage your expectations for the future.

Every day, the app asks you to rate your level of #happiness, and predict how happy you think you will be in the coming weeks, months and years. You can then #discover later what you expected in the past, and what you wrote to your future self.

Finally, the app features an analytics tab which allows you to visualise / analyze all the happiness data you've created along the way. You can very easily find patterns, understand if you tend to over/underpredict your short term happiness, and discover what makes you (un)happy.

All of your data remains on device (privacy policy in the settings tab).

I’ve attached a few screenshots.

Don’t hesitate to reply or dm with any feedback, and #help me increase the visibility of this toot (first time launching on the #fediverse !), thanks 🙏

I dusted off my blog and published a new article about rendering #Markdown content in #SwiftUI.

https://gonzalezreal.github.io/2023/02/18/better-markdown-rendering-in-swiftui.html

Check it out if you feel that the built-in Markdown support in SwiftUI is insufficient and you miss features like image and block-level element (headings, tables, lists, etc.) rendering.

Boost and feedback appreciated ❤️.

Better Markdown Rendering in SwiftUI

Let’s explore MarkdownUI, a library for displaying and styling Markdown content in SwiftUI.

I created a drop-in replacement for the `.sheet` modifier that reads the height of the content and sets the presentation detent to that height.

I called it `fittedSheet`.

Bonus, my size reading extensions that support getting the size via a callback but also by storing it in a binding.

Endel (https://endel.io) is probably the single app that I use the most across iOS and macOS that I never see anyone else talking about.

Programatically-generated soundscapes, perfect for working or reading to. I bought the lifetime subscription and have already gotten more than my money's worth.

Endel - Personalized soundscapes to help you focus, relax, and sleep. Backed by neuroscience.

Submitting my #testflight build to #Apple - should be able to share the link to my new app soon!

We made a new thing that's launching today!

It's called Weather Machine, and it's a unified API for weather data. (This is the same system that powers Hello Weather, but now it's available for everyone.)

#IndieDevelopers […] are all under-charging for their #apps and putting in far more time and care than you even imagine. They’re doing the best work on the platforms we #love and they take care of their customers better than larger companies. So whenever you think you might want to give us money, go buy something awesome from an #indie instead.” — @brentsimmons

My app is almost ready for a #testflight - how do I find testers on #Mastodon? Trying to get my head around discoverability ^^
