A friend told me about a skate crew paddling inflatable boats down the Akerselva. I showed up with a camera and no plan. The photos disappeared into my library. Here is what I found when I went looking.
In the 19th century, the mathematics student and Northern Lights researcher Carl Størmer acquired a spy camera. He took it out onto the streets, thereby becoming an early street photographer here in Oslo.
