TIP: Simple Scan's widget and Control Center controls can be configured to use a specific destination.
If you want to have a quick way to launch Simple Scan and be prompted to select from your destination each time, try assigning this shortcut to a Lock Screen or Control Center control – it will ask you to select a destination, then go directly to scanning.

TIP: Adjusting Crop Area while scanning
Based on some early feedback, this seems to be an overlooked feature. If you manually adjust the crop area in a scan - do NOT use the corners, which look temptingly like handles. Grab along the side of the crop frame, and the corners act as magnification loupes to let you get just the right spot!
