Update: To stabilise the structure, two M10 threaded rods were positioned asymmetrically through the cylindrical vertical pillars. The opposing tensions of these were increased by alternate application of torque to fasteners at the terminus so that the countervailing forces created a static equilibrium, eliminating lateral oscillation and ensuring a horizontal attitude was maintained.
