it's 2026, LLMs can read any kind of language on earth, you can vibe code entire os, but microsoft excell still can't figure out CSV in UTF8 with non UK/US delimiter and mess everything .

@valon sorry yes it does install as a webapp, and yes, I always fail to keep a diary too :D For a few years I had a script in my .bashrc that was locking my terminal until I write at least a sentence every day :D but anyway, in this case it's for a very specific event (my daughter's birth!) , only so we remember the first few weeks/month with her!

Hey Mastodon, do you know any good app, open source, that I can self host on a linux server, to keep a diar/journaly? ideally that can include different type of media (photo, sounds...) and that would have client app for mobile phone ? I can find a few but I thought I will ask here first before making a choice! #diary #selfhosting #FLOSS
