Still thinking about the fact that the US Secretary of education just said that the purpose of school is to meet the needs of corporations, while children watch their futures burn up in the fires of climate change, fascism, COVID & societal collapse. School should be meaningful, connecting and fun. Children are human beings who deserve full, happy lives, just like the rest of us.

I would like to open Kith.kitchen registrations again for the new influx of users, however I don't feel comfortable doing that without adding more moderators. Can anyone help? It's generally not a big time commitment, I'd just like to have more eyes on inboxes so we can be swift when something does come up.

Garden tour continued: Part of gardening here is finding artifacts, some going back into prehistory. Here are some of the stone tools we've found over the years: A fragment of a large hide scraper, a large knife or spear point, an arrow head, and a number of smaller knives, scrapers, or flakes that resulted from tool making. I've enjoyed developing an understanding of the place's history through these finds. It's become as important to me as what's here now. #gardening #garden #archaeology
