On this day in 2008, we released Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust.
An album shaped by the perfect imperfection of live takes. It was also the first Sigur Rós album made outside of Iceland.

On the longest day of 2016, Sigur Rós drove Iceland’s Ring Road, streaming the 1332km journey live 🇮🇸

The soundtrack to this “slow TV” adventure was created using generative music software, taking multi-track stems of ‘Óveður’ and endlessly reinventing them in real time.

The best moments from the 24-hour journey have been pared down to a quiet and reflective album of eight tracks.
