I may not be quite as food-centric there. I'm not sure what I'll be!

I was considering another food-related instance to move to, but then I got to the part saying they moderate with a light touch.
I don't want a light touch.
I want moderation that would make George Orwell raise his eyebrows and say "See, this was what I was talking about."
Keep your velvet gloves. I want an iron fist in an even more iron-y glove, moderators. 🧤
Ooooo - there only ever seem to be radio buttons on polls but if you CLICK on the radio buttons, they become CHECKBOXES!
Do you follow someone who posts really good stuff, but wow do they boost too many other posts?
1. If they tend to do it in clusters, you can mute them and set a time limit on it. You’ll start seeing their posts again after the mute expires.
2. Otherwise, you can set “disable reposts” and you’ll only see their actual posts and reply’s, not their boosts.
If you do the latter, you can always add a personal note on the profile too, to remind yourself of why you did it. Great feature, and notes are only seen by you. (I’m not sure they transfer if you move to an new instance though.)
Both options should be in the settings you can see on the user’s profile. Where they are, and the exact wording, will depend on what client you’re using. The screen shot below is for the #MammothApp iOS client, currently in beta.
(Sorry @nire, I’m not subtooting you, you just happened to be the nearest profile when I went to show an example!)
She really doesn't get enough fanart imo
