Celebrating Imbolc, the celtic day to celebrate the return of light and coming of spring, by starting a new journey in crafts: spinning with wool! I also made a St. Brigid cross to honour Brigid, the pre-christian celtic goddess of wisdom, poetry and smithing. Also lifestock and dairy.
Christians replaced the goddess Brigid's day with their Christian counterpart, the 5th century Saint Brigid, who is assigned many of the same attributes as the celtic goddess.
