Continuing to find enjoyment in the little needle case I made last summer. Even in the gloomy winter with poor light it's very sparkly and bright and nice. 🧡

Perhaps I should have posted this photo for #TextureTuesday since the pattern formed by the lines of falling snow are just beautiful, and just like a telescope view of space, you can see fainter and fainter lines the more you look into the dark spaces.
I know that making a muslin is the right thing to do so I’m not sweating bullets while using the shit-that-was-expensive-real-fabricTM. It does, however, feel like I’m working on a giant bummer bandaid.
Success combined with isolation turns a normal creative weirdo into a nut job.
We see this over and over, if you're not humble, if you don't have anyone you feel like you need to impress, a little creative success can make a nightmare out of anyone.
And that's the other thing we should remember about this, being able to say "I'm sorry, I was wrong" and mean it, is what keeps your mind from turning to slush.
The lesson of Dillbert is the same as the lesson from any comic that starts out as semi-autobiographical and about your job, which you then quit to do comics full-time:
Without the day job, you will loose touch with the reality that grounded the comic in the first place, and you can either move on and do art about something else, or you can fall to madness.
Calling on all free and open source developers.
We need recommendations for current platforms that exist to support Owncast streamers via bots, tips, etc that can help people convert from Big Tech platforms and easily move to Twitch.
I'm guessing they don't exist ATM, but I'm willing to start a platform if folks know tools we can use. Such as easily running bot commands in chat.
I know Le Fractal as emojiwall.
What else exists?
What features would YOU need to make your conversion to Owncast or Peertube easier?
