Don't get me wrong, I'm familiar-ish with network effects and how that affects people's choices as to where they go for social media. Still... it's been at least nine years since the first exodii from compromised platforms began. Since people found out about Cambridge Analytica. We had a pandemic since then which further reinforced people's learnings about how social media does and doesn't work.

Someone's got to tell me why so many people still use Facebook, Insta, and Twitter as their daily drivers. It's gotta be something beyond just being too lazy to switch over to a non-compromised platform.

@TonyStark Worst part is, I don't know what I could've done to counter all the disinformation, as well as all the sanewashing done by the old media, bought up by billionaires to get their return on investment. Or what anyone could have done, outside of a liberal cadre of billionaires.
