When I saw the images of St George’s crosses being painted on roundabouts and zebra crossings (basically any public infrastructure that was white) I thought Witney would be immune. Sadly not.

If we can’t get the media to stop running Farage stories every time he opens his mouth, what can we do? Feel sick in my stomach.

The Glenn Miller LP is now up on Discogs.

Something I hadn't noticed at first was the text on the Side Two label:

"Presented to Franklin Engelmann by Douglas Le Vicki of the Glenn Miller Society as a souvenir, twenty years after Glenn Miller's arrival in England June 29, 1944"

So this may well be a one off pressing!

The biggest trick the (far) right pulled off is to convince many people that anti-fascism is politically left. It isn't. Anti-fascism is a politically neutral, foundational requirement for any non-fascist society. Yes, you can be conservative AND anti-fascist. You should be. That is the bare minimum. If you are conservative and do not loudly oppose fascism, you are almost a fascist yourself. Simple, innit?
