14½ years sober today. The last 6 months have been the toughest I can remember, so much so I hit my 2nd rock bottom, one of the emotional kind. I'm very grateful to have been caught by the loving arms of ACA.
2023 takes a left turn.
After 14.5 years of sobriety, the emotional pain has become so bad in recent months that I have hit a second rock bottom, and ended up in ACA/ACoA.
It's immensely difficult, but I have hope again.

Sorry to hear about your hearing loss, I think each of us has our own challenges but they are OUR challenges and nobody can face them except US. The great thing is that sharing about them helps more than any of us could have possibly imagined while we were drinking. Keep on keeping on.
