Reluctantly accepting that the project that went from "stick a Pi in an existing case" to "buy this other expensive part and immediately desolder a bunch of things and possibly order a custom PCB" means that I should quit at the paper stage before I have another box full of unused parts.
I mean, it's still way cheaper in real terms than the 2005 spike when Katrina shut down Cancer Alley.
