🎉 No manual follow-up. Smooth process.

DoItNow - Chrome Web Store

A productivity Chrome extension to manage tasks with categories, filters, sorting, and priority marking.

⏱️ Just 2 days later, on July 24, I got the email:
“Self Nomination Request has been created”

That’s when things got exciting.

After submitting, I got a confirmation email from Google.
🗓️ Date: July 22
Subject: “We’ve received your request”

They said they’d get back after a manual review.

Some of the questions you'll be asked:

✅ What's your extension’s purpose?
✅ Main use cases and how users should use it
✅ Does it require access to any external services? (Netflix, banking, etc.)

Note: You can self-nominate once every 6 months.

Chrome Web Store One Stop Support - Chrome Web Store Help

The process starts with a simple support request form.

Go to:
➡️ Chrome Web Store Developer Support
➡️ My Item > I want to nominate my extension

They’ll ask a few questions that you need to answer clearly and briefly.

To get the Featured badge, Chrome extensions must follow a set of best practices and pass a manual review.

I recently migrated to Manifest V3, then submitted a nomination request via the Chrome Web Store team.

Chrome for Developers

My Chrome Extension just got the "Featured" badge!

Here’s exactly what I did to earn it - and how long it took.

👇 A short thread for fellow builders:

Area of a Sector Fast!
To find the area of a sector, use this magic shortcut:
Area = (θ / 360) × π × r² where θ is the central angle!
Try with r = 10, θ = 45°!
#GeometryTricks
Fast Area of a Parallelogram!
For area, just multiply the base × height. But here's the trick:
Area = a × b × sin(θ) where θ is the angle between them! Try for a = 5, b = 6, θ = 60°!
