One of most important things you can do in life is just say, "Sorry, I effed up. How do I fix this?"
And then follow through. No excuses, no blaming anyone else. Just own it.
If a boundary is raised, respect it and move on.
Seeing how A Perfect Circle are touring in Dec, a friend and I got to talking about 90s music and Uni Bar nights out. I was lucky to see The Whitlams, Sonic Animation, Something for Kate, Jebediah, Powderfinger & The Superjesus π Bar on the Hill at Newcastle Uni was legendary!
Hi to all the wonderful humans out there following my page π₯° I'd like to ask a tiny favour... if you've read any of my books in the last while, or a long while, I'd be ever so grateful, if you have the time, to head back over to your place of purchase, or Goodreads, and leave your honest review or rating. It helps me more than you may know.
Thanks π
PS: I hope everyone has had a great weekend, had time to rest and recharge and take care of yourselves.
There 3 videos on this channel. Steve McDonald does a fantastic job of showing the hidden places of the world, with an honest perspective on the way humans have treated each other for millennia.
What we're seeing today is nothing new.

A rash decision and a one-way ticket burned my old life to the ground and launched me onto one of the worldβs most epic and dangerous overland journeys. Find out what happens when a midlife crisis involves Taliban smuggler bazaars, Soviet nuclear test sites, and forgotten kingdoms. Instead of showing you the fun and exciting things you should do around the world, I show you the fun and exciting things you probably shouldnβt do.

Today's watch... 2003's 'Carnivale'.
A total masterpiece of a TV series. Only 2 seasons, but that's all that was needed.
I think it's on HBO Max.
