Are there any #Japanese learners using @duolingo here that also struggle dictating sentences in section four? #Duolingo always only records the first one or two letters. It seems impossible to pass. Any ideas what could be wrong?

#Japan has excellent #disaster warning apps. I like the NERV #app. It includes live motion monitoring. This morning, I watched the latest #earthquake develop in north Japan live with motion getting weaker and weaker as it approached Tokyo.
In most places, #Japan is less beautiful than visitors expect. Buildings are mostly functional and cheap. Why is that? Japanese prefer to rebuild rather than renovate but also earthquakes are part of the answer. You just have to expect to loose everything from time to time.
