The only time I saw them semi-frequently was, of all places, Genshin Impact roleplay on Twitter and I'm sure that's because they were mostly Very Online Teens hyper aware of all of that stuff, and almost all of them included he/she/they as an option anyway.

Even then it was a pretty limited set. I think I saw a couple Its a few Fae and that's about all I recall.

And again the sports thing is literally just hate for women. See Trump's assorted speeches about the cis woman who won in boxing or whatever. One of his points was that *any* man could beat *any* woman at any sport.

Donny doesn't know sports, but he does know sexism. Trans Misogyny is mostly just regular misogyny much of the time. They need a way to put women down. If Trans people are villified, it's a free way to do that. Despite "we can always tell", sigh.
