Linux SpainHan tardado poco, pero ya hay empresas tecnológicas que empiezan a maniobrar para "adquirir" Mastodon. Mask Network, una empresa especializada en la estafa piramidal que es la web 3.0 (criptomonedas, NFTS, blockchain y demás magufadas), se ha hecho con Pawoo.net, la segunda instancia por tamaño de Mastodon, contando con más de 800.000 usuarios.

Chris TrottierBIG NEWS: Pawoo.net, the world's 2nd biggest Mastodon instance, has just been acquired.
The entity acquiring them is the Mask Group, a business that also runs mstdn.jp and mastodon.cloud. They are also active in the so-called "Web 3.0" space.
If you haven't heard of pawoo.net, it's because many instances have de-federated from it.

BrianKrebsA lot of people are puzzling over why the major news outlets aren't simply pulling out of Twitter.
I can think of a few reasons. But the first is that's kind of anathema to what journalists do. Getting kicked of the stadium? Okay. But giving up a ringside seat? Hrm.
I've never reported from anything close to resembling a war zone, but typically news organizations view those locations as incredibly important to be on the inside of, so that they can tell the rest of the world what's really going on inside.
And Twitter right now is more of a war zone that it's ever been.
Not trying to justify feeding the beast. I know I won't be anymore. I'm still sort of in the process of processing into words how to describe everything I'm trying clumsily to say.
But I just wanted to share that what may seem like a no-brainer decision for many is deeply conflicting for me, and no doubt a great many of my colleagues.
If the unknown #SatoshiNakamoto created the #Bitcoin,
#JoanMastodon (in its female entity) / #JohnMastodon (in its male entity) / #JonieMastodon (in its non-binary entity) created the #Fediverse and gave us #TheTablesOfTheCode.

Pray them (in their indissoluble unity) by using #Mastodon, #Pixelfed, etc. responsibly.
