In 1945, Dwight D. Eisenhower said about the Nazi death camps "Get it all on record now. Get the films. Get the witnesses. Because somewhere down the track of history, some bastard is going to get up and say that this never happened."

And yes, documenting and filming the atrocities being committed by ICE is important for that reason. Because somewhere down the track of history, some bastard is going to get up and say that this shit we're living through never happened.

But I can't help but feel we're missing a key detail about this quote. And that is this: Eisenhower said it AFTER we kicked the ever loving shit out of the Nazis and utterly destroyed their entire government and military presence.

The lesson is simple. Filming Nazis is not a substitute for fucking up Nazis. It's step two of the two step process.
