One of the things I used to love when I had time to do lots of #wildlife #photography was the opportunity to spend time watching animals go about their daily lives. Nothing breaks out a grin more than watching the antics of a grey squirrel! #photo

We launched our gift experience boxes today, really pleased with how they turned out #scuba #ScubaDiving

I’m not someone of faith but I do appreciate the photographic opportunities in Vatican City and have been fortunate to visit a couple of times. This priest managed to find a quiet spot to check his mobile on a busy afternoon in St Peter’s Square #photography #travel #portrait #photo
Treating wild animals responsibly when photographing them means moving away after a reasonable interval or when the animal shows signs of concern. However I’ve had more than a few dives where despite my best efforts to move away the animal stays with me and appears to not want me to leave. It was the case with this schoolmaster that I photographed on Buddy Reef in Bonaire, I think he liked seeing his reflection in the dome on my camera housing! #photo #scuba #ScubaDiving #pleaseboost
Bit late for #PhotoMonday#FotoMontag - here’s an image of the London Eye which I photographed with a long exposure and moving the focal length of the lens through the exposure. #photo #CityScape

I downloaded the archive of images from my now defunct blog today meaning I don’t have to go through old computers and drives to dig out old pictures.

This is a lion in the Masai Mara, Kenya that I photographed in 2006. She was
atop a mound of earth with an overcast sky giving this studio look. It’s full frame, no cropping involved.

It’s #caturday so guess it’s time to share these beauties, previously posted pictures of Pumpkin (the ginger monster) but here’s also Amy who is a lot more shy #photo #cats
I don’t photograph a lot of sunsets as I prefer to look the other way at the golden hour, it generally provides such fantastic lighting, however this Barbados view caught my eye #photo #sunset
Been doing a lot of work on these experience gift boxes last few weeks, they arrived this afternoon and I’ve just seen it. Quite chuffed. #scuba #ScubaDiving
I photographed this crayfish in the UK. Under the bar at Stoney Cove inland diving centre for those who may know it. I love the bright blue eye, so much brightness in a very dark place. #photo #scuba #ScubaDiving
