So my little handmade web browser got the most wonderful feature on Daring Fireball over the weekend.

Still hungover from the euphoria, and overwhelmed with gratitude for all the messages of encouragement from so many new users.

Maybe there's still a future for user-funded handcrafted apps.

A slow motion sneak peek of what's (finally) coming to Quiche Browser:

• Swipe up to see all tabs.
• Slide on the toolbar to move between tabs.
• Tabs move, grow, and shrink in an organic way.
• The interface always responds to taps and gestures, even during transitions.

These last two are the same design principles behind the app switcher on iOS, and applying them to Quiche Browser should make it feel a lot more natural and smooth to use.

One of the many reasons I made Quiche Browser was to get a per-website JavaScript kill switch in my toolbar.

But these days I'm even tempted to disable JavaScript everywhere and enable it only where needed.

Laws that require adults to upload their driver's licenses or passports to access apps, websites, and VPNs will make the entire web less safe.

Here's BMW's first all-electric 3 series, the 2027 i3
The iX3 SUV was very good; we think the i3 sedan will be even better.
