When I built https://meyerweb.com/eric/tools/color-blend/ and decided to put a “Web-safe colors” waterfall on it, that meant I was including a color that would one day be named in memory of my yet-to-be-born daughter.

I think about that sometimes. I don’t know what to think about it, but I still think about it.

I have a stormy Pteranodon for you this #PterosaurPtuesday. This is a relatively old painting (2007), but I have reworked it a couple of times to improve the composition and tighten up the anatomy.

I love really getting to grips with pterosaur wings and how they functioned. Although it's not always super-obvious in paintings, I've worked a lot of forelimb musculature and function, and a lot of subtle detail is in there.
