And with that, not an hour later, I got my first solicitation email from Gavin Newsom's PAC. Unsubscribed immediately with some choice words when the template asked me why. Don't platform and fellate and cheerfully validate nazis on camera and ask for my money, kids.
Imagine chilling out in a parklet on a nice day havin a beer watchin the game and just getting flattened by some asshole in an $85,000 SUV.

I swore this in 2014 and again in 2022:
"I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God."
If you know a federal employee, maybe check in on how they're doing. Anxiety is really high, and if they are trans, or an immigrant, or been working at their current job less than a year (or two, maybe), or don't go to the office every day, or don't live in DC, or do live in DC, they are probably worried about their job.
