Yarn obsessed crafter
Have a small boy, a patient husband and a less patient cat.
UK based leftie.
Stood on my doorstep, waiting for my lift. Listening to the foxes getting reacquainted.
I finished my Wool and Honey sweater. It’s been sat unloved as a WIP for ages so delighted to get it off the needles and on me. #Knitting #FibreArts

It seems that some of the traditional hashtags for plant and fungus Fediposting are being forgotten. A quick recap:

Plants: #plantodon
Moss: #mosstodon
Flowers: #florespondence
Fungus: #sporespondence
Lichen: #LichenSubscribe

They were clearly hungry as there are several birds already on the newly cleaned refilled feeders. Can see my usual house sparrows, blue tits, a magpie and some pigeons. Just waiting on the gold finches and robin to reappear.
Just washed and dried all the bird feeders. Anyone else found that lots of the seed is sprouting? The birds in our garden didn’t like one particular seed in the mix so there were piles of it under the feeder and it’s all now sprouted. Even the fat balls (which had been ignored unusually) had sprouted seeds in them.

Note to self and knitwear designers everywhere:
It’s not ‘mindless garter stitch’ if it’s seamless/in the round and you’re making me purl every other sodding round. I hate purling in the round.

My advent knitting is coming on. This is going to be a Stumble Dress by Lydia Morrow which is currently a hack of the Tumble Tee and her Stumble Dress patterns.
The yarn is this year’s Pigment & Ply advent and it’s every bit as beautiful as I’d hoped it would be.
Progress on my #AdventKnit. This is the Stumble Dress by Lydia Morrow in Pigment & Ply’s beautiful advent. #knitting
Just stood on and snapped one of my ‘sleeve’ needles. Right on the join so not really fixable either. Need it on current project so ordered a new one. And three other sets of needles I didn’t *really* need. #knitting
